Thank you all of your reply. Anyway, if I can't apply the H1B visa , I will continue my study in ANP. For my curiosity, if I get my ANP certificate later on, do I need the VSC too?

If you are applying for a work or immigrant visa and you are the main applicant then you still require a VSC.

@ all. Im still waiting for my approval. Got a RFe dated September 30, 2009 and on the same day got resumed. Its been 3 months already and still my case is pending. Whats taking USCIS long before they can process my paper??

Specializes in hemodialysis, geriatrics.

:yeah:got here in the US last Oct. under an H1b visa, and at present, I'm on my orientation/training as an Acute Dialysis RN in one of the biggest hospital here in Washington State. So, to my fellow H1b applicants, don't get despair.. as long as you are qualified for the visa, there is a great chance of fulfilling your dreams of working here in the US.. Good Luck for all of us and May God Bless us always!! :redpinkhe

what are the documents that you present together with your application for h1b?

You do not submit paperwork for H1b your employer and their lawyer has to do it so therefore should know what is required

chengzz... i suggest you backread previous posts on how to go about applying for H1B so that when it re-opens again by April, you'll be ready.

i know that silverdragon im just asking what are the documents that salve gave to his employer and other supporting documents thanks!

Is there any guarantee that H1b visa will still be available in April?

I think the H1B visa will still be available. At least , there is shortage of nurse practitioner positions and a lot of hospitals and clinics still want them. right?

There will always be H1B visas available for the new fiscal year which starts in APRIL 2010. the question though is if it will be taken up immediately or will it be like last year wherein the 65k cap hasn't been reached until the second week of December.
