Gwinnett Tech Fall 2017

Is anyone here applying to the 2017 session? I've seen some other GTC threads from previous years and am wondering if there are any current pre-nursing students lurking around. Those were fun to read, btw.

I just recently took the Kaplan for the first time and will be taking it again in January so I can hopefully get a better score.

Is anyone completely done with the admissions process? I'm anxious to see who gets in and who doesn't because it doesn't seem like there's a sure-fire way to tell based on what I've seen. Time will tell! I sure hope I'm one of the lucky ones.

Hey there!! I am also applying for Fall at Gtc. This is my second attempt and I have completed my admissions process already. I'm so unbelievably nervous since I didn't make it in last year. How is everything going for you?

Hey!

So Make in the 80s for your Kaplan score, and if your GPA is 3.5 or better, your solid.

Hi! It's nice to see someone finally commented, haha.

Do you feel better going in this time around? I'm sure you'll be fine. My fingers are crossed for you.

Everything is going well so far. I'm retaking my Kaplan again in the morning. I got a 78 the first time and know I will do better this time. My gpa is good so I think I have a pretty good shot.

Nice to meet you! Good luck tomarrow!! Im sure you will do better since you know whats on it now! I'm feeling a little better this time around. My Kaplan score was too low last year, but I brought it up to a 91. Hopefully with that score and a 4.0 I can do this! It's so exciting and nerve racking at the same time lol

Oh my gosh, you should be feeling a TON better, haha. You're definitely in. No doubt about it.

I'm feeling pretty confident. I have a 3.86 gpa and got an 85 on the Kaplan. The adviser told me I'm a strong candidate and that makes me feel good. Now we wait!

Omg! That's awesome, you did great!!! Ugh, waiting is the hardest part!! But I think we got this!! :)

Thanks! I think so, too.

And I see they already put in my application information into the student banner. They are really on top of it! I'll be checking it every day even though I know there won't be any changes for a while...I'm obsessive, haha.

I have finished my prereqs with 3.6 and plan to apply. I need to study for the Kaplan. What study guide or materials are you guys using? I struggle with math mostly.

I watched youtube videos to study basic math.

Have you already signed up to take it?

Me too!! Haha!!

No. I'm gong to start reviewing the math on Youtube. Thanks:D

No problem.

So are you planning to apply in 2018 then? Because the deadline to apply is Jan 15th, (extended until the 16th because the 15th is a Sunday) and there's not enough time to apply for and take the kaplan.
