  1. Congratulations!!!! That's amazing!!! I bet it feels like a ton of bricks off your shoulders! Hoping and praying I'm right behind you! ??? Consistently doing my daily questions!!!
  2. That's great scores!! So far, after a week, I'm in the 80th percentile. Hopefully that will increase with practice! Good luck!!!
  3. Thank you! How long did you practice with uworld before you took nclex?
  4. Hello everyone. I am a new graduate nurse preparing for taking nclex on June 10th. I have been using uworld since last week (150-200 questions/day). Did anyone else use uworld and how long did you use it before taking nclex? Any other recommendations on how to study?
  5. Hi there!! Congrats on passing nclex!! I taken mine on June 10th. How long did u use uworld before taking your exam?
  6. I believe they take the most recent one.
  7. The first semester you don't do 12 hr clinical shifts, but eventually u will. Although your not at school or clinical for 12 hrs, plan for A LOT of time spent because the curriculum is not easy! It is a ton of information to learn in a very short amount of time with very little room for error. It is totally do-able with hard work and planning!
  8. I will be able to ask at orientation next month. Just thought I'd get a head start on planning.
  9. Hello! I have been accepted to Gtc's Nursing Program for Fall 2017 cohort. I have a few questions for anyone who is currently attending or have attended this program. 1. When will we get a list for our books so we can begin studying? 2. What is the first semester schedule like? Is it Mon-Fri? (I would like to try and work a little so I am curious to what days or hours I might be able to) 3. Is there any advice you might have for me to prepare myself before I begin my journey? 4. I just bought a new chromebook for notes/school work. Is any of the class work to be done online? Also, will I need a computer for CD discs? Like we did in A&P? Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to respond!
  10. Me too!! Yay, so excited!
  11. Did anyone receive an email with our details this week? I thought they would go out after the 15th.. but I didn't get anything. I do know orientation is on March 9th from 1230-130 (she wasn't positive about the time).
  12. Hello! I had Jessica LaPointe for A&P 1 and Dr Ross for A&P 2 and I loved them both! From what I've heard, all the teachers are great! It's a lot of information so you have to do a lot of the research yourself. Best advice is always come to class prepared! On the Kaplan I studied my A&P 2 notes for science, math I watched some you tube videos on basic algebra (also check quizlet), and reading/writing I used the Teas Nursing exam book!
  13. Nice to meet y'all!!!! So, the advisor said there is going to be an Orientation in March!! Didn't think it would be so soon! That's so exciting! We should get our "packet" emails soon with all the details! :)
  14. Wow, March? That's awesome! Did she say when we would get our packet of info of things we need to get done? Like vaccines and stuff.
  15. Yaay! I signed mine and sent it back to her via email! It felt so good to know it's a for sure thing!!
