I remember when I was doing a pre nursing course going to a medial museum in London but was usually only open to medical students and doctors but they did allow college groups but had to book well in advance. It was really interesting

I think it was at the Guy hospital. I remember you had to be in the medical profession to get in, as there were a lot of real human body parts. I looked up medical museums on the net and saw that there are quite a few in london that are open to the public, so have the rules changed at guys hospital? I really want to go back and visist the one I went to yrs ago. If anyone knows their phone number or opening hours that would be great info.

Another favour for anyone willing. Does anyone work in any of the hospitals in or around London. I am visiting in November with a friend, and would love her to see how old most of the British hospitals are. We are both RN's working in a level 1 trauma emergency room. Thanks .

I have been to that web site, and I am not sure if that is the same place as it sounds like it is open to the public. The one I went to had many body parts pickled that people could get disturbed by and that was why it was only open to medical people. Thanks for the infor.
