Has anybody heard about this school? They have locations in San Mateo & Concord, CA. The one in Concord is fairly new and I would like to know if it has a good reputation. Thanks.

I've read a few favorable comments about them on the education forum on Craigslist. I don't know much other than that the SM location is accredited.

Im looking for a VN school in concord and came across of their site. It seemed to be a good school but when I look at their board pass rate in http://www.bvnpt.ca.gov/Education/VN_Stats.asp it didnt show the percentage. So im kinda hesitant now whether to consider this school or not. i hope somebody would give their insight about this school. you know, former/current students...is this a good school? How are they handling the students? the clinical experience? are the teachers credible? How many students are in the class?
did you graduate already? did you take your boards? how was it? tell us about your experience while in school? thanks!
sorry, I dont come onto this site very much .. slow to respond. The boards doesnt have a pass rate because we are the first batch to grad. since Concord campus is new. From what I know so far .. we have a HIGH percentage who passes boards compared to san mateo which SM has been going for 4-5 yrs now ( I think). So far I think only one student failed ... Ive been working now since March 6th. I took boards in Feb. passed the first time. I studied my brains out. The school was good for the most part .. although after you work you find things that you never learned .. Im glad Im done and working and past all of that .. it was a sure stressful time in my life ... I will get my RN but not until next year. Right now really, VN in itself is a TON of responsibility... Im in NO rush to jump to RN until I get my experience ...
good luck to you .. JulZ

Oh, I heard a lot about this school from my friends. I was about to go to February batch but due to change in circumstances I end up going to Bay Area college of Nursing in S. SF. (which I regret) Anyways, if you live in 925 area go for it.
med surg...did you heart good things about this school? aparently i dont have anything friends to rely when it comes to this issue. i requested info from this school. its my top pick actually. enrollement is going on. Pre reqs start on July 7th. I wish to be enrolled right away.
Well bobsie,
Their main branch is in San Mateo and my friend graduated from their. She is working now as a LVN in SNF ( skilled nursing facility). If you have some doubts about it call scaremanto and ask them about school. Also, they advisors make an appointment with her and talk to her regarding your concerns about school.
