Anyone else out there apply to GCSC and waiting for acceptance or anyone already get accepted? I got my letter last Friday and have seen only one other person! Looking for other students!!
Is this the right book (the HESI one you suggested)???
Lol, I got a Taber's at goodwill too. Whether I need it or not, it was well worth the three dollars invested. My course textbooks may not show up in time, which could create an interesting situation, but I'll cross that bridge if/when I come to it. I had a recent, very unexpected death in the family and the past few weeks have been accordingly off-kilter. I haven't had the time I would have liked to devote to preparing for class (just getting through my finals was an ordeal in itself). Things are starting to get back to normal now, so I hope I can start the term off properly.
Also, I managed to lose the list of orientation courses, along with most of the acceptance packet while running around preparing for a last minute flight. Would anyone be so kind as to post the course numbers that we need to register for? I would really appreciate it!
Hope everyone's holidays were better than mine. :)
I am in the LPN to RN transition class. Got most of my books from Amazon....super cheap! The best part is that if the books are still in good condition and a recent edition, you can sell them to the college and actually make some money off of those books! Last ones I purchased were from Textbookrush. They were a little more but still cheap for brand new books!
Oh goodness. I am sorry no one responded on the orientation courses. I hope you got them but in case you didn't here they are:

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and that you have had to deal with that during this stressful time.
it faces highway 98. we had our practicum in there. BTW Passed NCLEX! yippee! Officially and RN and have a job interview tomorrow with the ER in my town. Have fun on your first day of classes and don't be too overwhelmed! I remember my first day and I was so excited I couldn't sleep the night before. Its been the most stressful 2 yrs of my life but its well worth it in the end. Good luck!

It was suggested by a recent grad on here! She said that those helped several people throughout the entire program. I bought both! A little extra money, but you can def get them used!!!
