Gulf Coast State College Spring 2014 Class

Anyone else out there apply to GCSC and waiting for acceptance or anyone already get accepted? I got my letter last Friday and have seen only one other person! Looking for other students!!

I am slacking big time!! I have been online looking for books and just haven't bought them yet. I am in the process of packing and getting ready to move...yikes..we move into our house December 31st!!! So I am going to be one stressed student!

Did you buy all of your books online?? Did you buy every single one listed or just the ones required?

I understand the moving stress. We are moving on the 27th and between finals and packing, I'm exhausted! Hope it all goes smoothly for your family!

I bought all of the required books and two recommend books for the first 8 week course. I was able to get the recommended books used for $15; otherwise I wouldn't have gotten them. I still need to go to the college bookstore and pick up the LAG and lab kit. I keep forgetting to grab them when I'm there.

That's what I was thinking about doing and just buy the other books for each course a little later. Oh goodness I am not sure I could handle anything else! What classes are you taking?

Yeah I need to do that too. Are you in PCB? I am trying to find someone else who lives in Santa Rosa Beach, but so far everyone on here lives in PCB or very close.

I don't know if you bought this book yet or not but the site I am on now has it for $2.73 saving $34.22 and GCSC has it for $38.95!!!!

Finishing up Microbiology and Intro to Pharm. YAY! My last final is tomorrow afternoon and I am so glad to see this semester end!

I'm in LH right now but will be moving to PC at the end of the month. How long will your commute be every day? Hopefully there will be someone in class that will live close enough to carpool with.

I ordered that book for $3.50! The two volume Fundamentals of Nursing set is also a lot cheaper online. I was able to buy the set brand new for $80.00.

Oh that's awesome! I need to take Pharm but will do that in the summer. I don't want to take on too much. I have three little girls so I am going to try and still spend time with them when I can!

Well, right now it wouldn't take me that long, maybe 45 with traffic, but we are moving closer to Sandestin so probably an hour or an hour and 15 minutes. Stinks, but we did it to be closer to family and our girls schools.

Those are good deals!! This stuff is expensive.

Did you get both books she recommended? The yellow Saunders book and the HESI book?
