yea it was supposed to conclude this week but they made a last minute decision

Maybe they had to call some extra people in because of the extra spots. That's not necessarily a bad thing...means the odds are better. I'd still be checking email religiously. Since they told us we'd hear next week, I would hope they'd go ahead and send word for those of us in the earlier interviews. Also check the gtc-web account, because last year's applicants (on their allnurses thread) talked about seeing a certain status change there before receiving an email.

I had my interview on Tuesday and it's nerve racking enough without them changing things up. Hopefully the only reason they added another interview time is because they had extra spots, meaning that everyone they already interviewed got in. It is strange that they made the interview a whole week after the original ones. They said in my interview that they would be reviewing everything on Monday and we would know my Friday at the lastest. I'm not sure I'll make 'til Tuesday, but I know I cannot wait an additional week to find out.

Olivia, I read that about the status change on the other thread as well, and I've already started checking my application compulsively. Can't wait to get the news and hear who else made it!

miss_impatient, what time did you interview? I interviewed at 3PM on Tuesday. I thought that sounded strange as well, which is why I would hope they go ahead and let the first of us know. I have a bit of an idea that they might already know who they definitely want, but I could be wrong.

UUGHHHH!!!!! Sorry Shameka, no frustration at all towards you! Just anxiously waiting to hear results!! just like MIss impatient, I barely felt as though I could last next week and now another week just seems almost unbearable. Sigh... thanks for the tips ladies on the status change thing. Very cool! Have u guys applied for fafsa already? I need to do that...

Olivia, I was at the 4:00 interview on Tuesday. So we probably saw each other in passing.

One more week! Hopefully I can keep myself busy enough this weekend that I won't stress about waiting. :)

Me! I've already checked it once today (this morning when I woke up) and I'm about to check it again. I've been thinking the same thing all day...and that even though they said by the end of the week, I'd be checking it non-stop starting today. Because who knows...they could send them out earlier than expected, right?

Find something to occupy yourself is right! So far I've cleaned the garage and rearranged my bedroom. Tomorrow, after work, I think I'll organize the closets...I've set my email limit to twice a day. Hopefully I can keep that up.

I have been trying to come up with things to do myself. I have started studying my nclex rn review book! Passes the time and makes me feel more prepared.
