I submitted my application for Georgia State University's nursing school last week. I thought I would start a new thread for everyone that is applying for the spring. I know that I will be checking my mail box religiously over the next few weeks!

Thanks bdanders! I wanted to thank you for sending me the private message last week as well. I wanted to reply to you, but realized that I'm not able to because I haven't made enough posts. I really hope you get your letter soon!

I talked with the nursing secretary today and she says they are still reviewing applications. They hope to be done by the 2nd week in November. Those who received acceptance letters have until November 13 to accept or decline. So, I imagine that they're actually done reviewing and have the list of people and are waiting to see how many of the people who have already received acceptance letters are actually going to enroll in the program.

I know of one person that was accepted who is declining (she got into another program). I believe she already sent in her notice, declining the spot.

ysosa1, I guess you just had to bring us back to reality but the truth is, that is a very interesting question and I am tempted to ask it too,has anyone been rejected yet?I know is an ugly question to ask especially if anyone is in this situation but whoever that person is please if you don't mind could you share your experience?Thank you...

I guess I am in the same boat as those waiting on the decision letter, from what I know all letters whether acceptance or rejection letters will be mailed by mid November.

I just talked with a fellow ACE program applicant who has been working with the nursing advisor and she said that letters were scheduled to go out on November 1st (which was a Sunday, so the next round likely went out on Monday). They are sending them out alphabetically. I have never been so excited to have a last name at the very beginning of the alphabet! Here's hoping that the post office is quick!

Thanks for the update bdanders.My last name begins with an L,I guess i will just have to buckle up and wait. thanks again,past the first deadline, I am beginning to hang on a thread of hope but your optimism is contagious, so I will just keep hanging on to my thread until the postman makes his move.

Congrats on those who have already heard! I was in your position back in the spring. I'm in my first semester of the ACE program. So for those who have questions about it to help kill time or for those who get into the ACE program, ya'll are all welcome to message me with questions. I'd be more than happy to share about the classes, professors, work load...whatever. Just you may have to bear with me. They do not lie when they say the ACE program is intense. Since the semester started I have had only I think 3 weeks where I had no tests. Apart from the massive amounts of work I am loving the program so far. It is soooo much fun and I am around some of the most fun people you'll ever meet. I need to get back to work but I'll keep checking here on this thread. If you dont want to message me, direct a post with a question towards me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!! Or just PM me!

Hello All,

I called the office today to ask if they were finished reviewing applications and the secretary informed me that they were still making decisions and all applicants will be notified by the end of the month! This is killing me! I have a friend that got his acceptance letter last Friday so does that mean that they only send out a few each week?
