Anybody applying for Fall '13 at Georgia State?

Guys, ignore this person. When deciding which school(s) to apply to, take a look at what fits best into your lifestyle, what you can afford, where you feel comfortable, and what the school's NCLEX pass rates are. If GSU is where you want to go, then definitely apply there knowing that it's a good school, a respected school, has good NCLEX pass rates, and that you will have a good shot at getting hired after graduation.

Oh, and just so you know, as a recent GSU grad, I was hired into a critical care unit at a major hospital here in Atlanta. Had I graduated from "a top ranked program" you know how much more money I would be making right now? Not. One. Penny. More.

This is an exciting and nerve wracking time for you guys--don't let anyone take away from your excitement. I truly wish you all the best of luck!!

Wasn't trying to come off as a downer or discourage anyone. I am trying to do the same thing as everyone in this thread so that definitely was not my intentions. I wish everyone the best of luck and I'm sure all of you will get in!

Letters should be coming out this week if the past is a predictor! Has anyone heard anything?

Of course I am not sure how Spring Break throws things off because I am sure they were not at the school last week making decisions.

My guess was that this coming week would be the earliest we heard anything. I know someone posted it could be as late as May, but I'm really hoping that isn't the case. Regardless, I've been checking my mail for a letter for weeks!

Well I my wait list letter was dated October 23rd for the spring semester and when I went back to the last thread for Fall 2012 this is the week they started to arrive. Good luck to everyone!
