GRU CNL PROGRAM 2016 admissions

Published

Hi, will anyone here be applying for the 2016 admissions for the CNL program at GRU in Augusta, GA?! If so could you share some of your career background/experience and stats! Also if some of you who are currently or have been in the program could give some input that would be awesome too!!

Do you mind if I asked you what your pay will be? I'm just curious because.. 92k.. damn. ._."

Hey- look at what people pay to go to Emory. One semester for a BSN is like 20k and it's a 3 year program... And that's in-state students too.

Thanks so much for your response!

Are you planning on participating in the loan forgiveness program?

Additionally, did you use private loans to fund the difference between what you needed and what federal loans you received?

Also, did you get to choose your plan for paying the loans off?

Sorry if these are dumb questions!

Make sure you do your research on the loan forgiveness programs. If you do the Public Service or Health Services Corp program you should be OK. However, be aware that if you use another program the amount forgiven is counted as income and you will have to pay taxes on it. I just read an article about a man who had over 100K forgiven but now he cannot afford to pay the taxes (they will all be due on that tax year). Then the fines start racking up and you don't want to owe the IRS.....

From another forum on this site, I saw that the CNL Admissions committee met on February 19th. The last one met on January 22nd and there was a round of people on this site accepted around February 1-4th via mail. So, I'm guessing that anybody that interviewed after January 22nd but before February 19th will hear something around February 29-March 3rd, if it goes like last month did.

Hi. I had my interview on Jan 22 and I still have not heard back. I am getting really nervous and anxious. Did y'all wait long to hear back? I have checked the admission status and it still says incomplete.

My interview was February 5th-my admission status just changed this afternoon to "decision made-notification in mail" maybe it's changed since you checked it earlier?

Hi everyone. I am hoping to get accepted to the program as well.....if I don't get arrested for stalking the mailman first. This wait is killing me!

Is anyone else waiting to hear back about a possible interview?? I hope I didn't miss all the interview opportunities. It's been like 13 days since I last heard anything from GRU. I'm so nervous!! I turned in my NursingCAS application on Jan 29th but then it got sent back to me. I had 2 dual enrollment English classes in high school and apparently I needed to send in the transcripts from the college I did dual enrollment through. So that's why it was sent back to me and I am sure I will be the most delayed candidate :( I hope there are still spots by the time I get an interview. Is anyone else in the same boat?

I'm in . My letter came in the mail today. I'm so excited!

brennabubble, did you get an e-mail that they've received everything they need?
