  1. im going crazy waiting on this snail mail! i interviewed feb 5th and status changed to decision made; notification by mail.. it also added the background consent form :) im hoping thats good news but the wait is killing me!!! hopefully itll be in tomorrow since i live 4 hours from augusta, im using that as my excuse!
  2. Any word on when those that interviewed on feb 5th will hear back?! Good luck!! :)
  3. Thank you! But what about classes are they more online because they are based in Athens? Or is there an actual university campus in Athens? Also, what about sim lab and hands on classes? Im just confused to how the Athens campus runs, Bc I tried to google map it and the building just shows one small office next to an autozone? Lol
  4. does anyone know the difference in being interviewed/ accepted to the athens campus and augusta campus? any benefits, any downfalls? I really want to know what the difference between the two are, so any knowledge is welcome!
  5. I applied to the CNL program for fall 2015 and I was placed on the wait list to later find out I unfortunately did not get accepted. My gpa is about 3.4 and my gre wasnt that great so I took the MAT instead. Needless to say, I interviewed and everything, but was so close to getting in. I just hope this year, since they moved the application process over to the online portal through nursing CAS, that the transition is smooth and hopefully we hear back sooner from the admissions committee. I think if you have 3 great references, extracurricular work, and higher test scores you'll be considered. Thats one thing I like about their program is that they look at the student as a whole rather than just grades and test scores.
  6. was the exam more similar to the questions ATI provides or the questions mcgraw hill provides? I bought both books and i've done progressively better on each exam but the mcgraw hill one was definitely harder than the ati.
  7. hey everyone! so I applied for the fall 2015 program and got put on the "alternate" list aka wait list. I sent all my stuff in pretty late up until the last day the application was due. I believe that was feb something then interviewed in march. I had just graduated with a degree in biology that December and took the MATs. my gpa wasnt that great. I didnt have much experience either. so this year I luckily got a job at my local hospital as a CNA and i'm hoping to rack up several hours worth of experience to compensate for my mediocre gpa. And hopefully after all this effort, it'll be an acceptance.
  8. I havn't got anything in the mail yet either. its such false hope, like the people in the program are already getting their books, schedules, etc in preparation for the semester... which makes me think we're rejected, but without any form of communication saying "not accepted" then there stands a little bit of hope :/
  9. Hi I'm applying for the program this upcoming year. I already have my bachelors in biology from a different college, and i'm soon planning on taking the TEAS. any recommendations or any advice on how the entire admissions process went? I recently applied to a masters program in augusta, and didnt get accpeted so im taking one step back to get my bs in Nursing. any advice, tips, comments would be greatly appreciated. and best of luck to those of you starting this fall :)
  10. Hi all, today I was told by (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) that the alternate list has been closed and we will receive official communication via mail.
  11. Hey areeves4, how did you find out you were accepted? Through email, the online status check, or mail?
  12. anyone hear any more updates yet about the "alternate list" ?
  13. @mcampbe1 I wish they told me that :/ but thanks for letting us know. Thats good news to me! But 20 is a little high, I wonder if this is for the Athens and Augusta campus combined?
  14. I just called and the information i've collected is as follows: There is no way to find out how many people are on the alternate list, there is no way to find out how many people are ahead of you on the alternate list, and if you are to find out if you get accepted they will call you from the time the tuition deposit is due until June 30th to let you know if you are admitted into the program. -ps. i'm an alternate for the main augusta campus.
  15. Wonder what our chances are or how soon we will find out for those of us that are "alternates".
