GRU CNL 2014 entering class

Published

Is anyone applying early decision for the 2014 entering class? Does anyone know how long it takes to get a decision/interview email? Does anyone know the statistics for acceptances from last year?

No the only thing I have received is them requesting immunization records.

Congrats to everyone accepted! I submitted my application last week and realized I need to provide a CV. What type of information did y'all put on this? I didn't see it listed anywhere on the application, so I'm a bit confused.

I put education, achievements, related coursework, work experience, professional memberships, presentations, community activities, and special interests.

The CV is basically your resume.

Is anyone else unable to set up their jagID/email? It seems like a few of the links on the online checklist aren't working for me.

Good luck! Hopefully you will hear something back as far as interviews go a few weeks after the application deadline :-)

Thanks! Hopefully, but they have extended the deadline to 2/28/2014, so, it looks like it will be a longer wait than initially anticipated. :(

I'm already a student there, but I tried out the links anyway and a lot of them didn't work for me either. You will probably have to contact admissions.

Also replace some of the links with GRU instead of Georgiahealth. That may help with some.

Has everyone that applied for early admission and interviewed in December already gotten their acceptance letters? I'm still waiting on mine and I am a little concerned. Did everyone's "status" on the online GRU application status check change to "decision made" before receiving a letter?

Mine changed to "Decision made by Admissions Committee; notification is by mail" before I got it in the mail. It seemed to be the same last year too if you check the thread for the previous cohort. You would think they would have contacted you either way though :-/ maybe you need to contact admissions and see if they know anything. Remember that even if you don't get accepted for early admission, they still consider your application for regular decision from what I've heard. Maybe that's what they did? Either way I would have thought you would have heard something. You had an interview right?

Yes, I had an interview in December. They mentioned that results could take up to 6 weeks (and I think it is almost 7 weeks now). A friend of mine who also got an interview in December also has not heard anything yet... I guess this makes me feel a little better :/ Either way, I hate playing this waiting game, especially knowing that some people have already been contacted!

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted! I applied a couple weeks ago, and my references haven't finished up their forms yet. Should I expect an interview question only after they have all arrived? If so, about how long do you guys think that it would take for them to contact me for the interview?

Exciting times! Can't wait to see if I get in. Or not :/
