GRU / Augusta University MSN CNL Fall 2017

Nursing Students Post Graduate

Published

Hey guys, anyone else applying to the CNL program at Augusta University ( previously known as GRU)? I am going to be applying and if admitted I think I would prefer to make my move a few months post acceptance. I have 2 bachelors and my passion is with Psychiatric Mental health but I really don't want another Bachelors so the CNL seems just fine to have under my belt until I maneuver into a DNP program. It all sounds so pricey but in the end I believe it will be worth the while. I know I am early but hopefully others are interested. My scores aren't great but I saw people with similar scores with acceptance so lets just pray. I have great grades it is just one school gave me F's instead of W's when I withdrew in 2008 and I have had hell getting it off my record but it has no bearing on my gpa it is still "good" just not where it could be without 4-5 F's.

Thank you! Mine said the same thing that yours did! So hopefully we will receive the decision in the mail this week.

Hey you guys!!! I just recently submitted my application, yesterday to be exact, and I feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders! Interview doesn't sound as scary as I thought it would be. They are very quick in everything with the application process. Anyone going to the tour in December? Also, a phone interview was an option?

Hey everyone! Current CNL student here :angrybird5: Just wanting to let y'all know I'm here to answer questions if you have any! The application process isn't nearly as scary as it seems.

I am currently waiting my response in the mail, this Friday will be a month since I interviewed. How long did it take for you to hear back?

Hi everyone! I recently submitted my application and it was verified in NursingCAS on November 3rd. Has everyone heard back fairly quickly about interviews? I have seen that it took some people as little as 3 days to hear back, so now I am super nervous!

@thaynes, they likely will schedule you for an interview within two-4 weeks

@thaynes I received and email that they were reviewing my application at Augusta, and about 30 minutes later, I got an email inviting me to interview. So I don't think it necessarily has a specific time frame. I saw where other people got an invitation to interview in a few days too.

mp04551-- I interviewed January 15, and heard back in early February. All in all it felt like forever but it was actually pretty quick.

Hey. Could you please inform me of the classes you have taken so far that have been online and which were in the classroom? Thanks in advance, and if you know of the others that will be online or in the classroom that would be great.

Acceptance in the mail this morning! So excited!!! Can't wait to become part of the CNL family!! Any Facebook groups already made?
