Grossmont Nursing Spring 2017 Cohort

Hi! Good luck to everyone who applied for Spring 2017! I just wanted to start a thread for those of us anxiously awaiting to hear back. I will be applying to Mira Costa and Palomar, as well as SDCCD and southwestern later in the year. How many points does everyone thing they had? From what I've read, it seems like most cohorts hear back in mid-late September. I wish everyone the best!

Just received my Mira Costa Acceptance letter.!!!! I think if you haven't received anything maybe they are waiting for acceptances/ passes on the program to see how many seats they have left?

Just checked the mail and I got a rejection letter from Mira costa. That's okay, it wasn't meant to be.

Better things are to come Emily! I'm glad I'm not alone in not hearing from Grossmont or Palomar yet. I don't want to be a pain but should I call Grossmont on Monday? I known Christy said it coukd take a few weeks...man I'm getting antsy!!

@sdport85 Will you post once you've been notified from Palomar? I'm antsy as well and worried since I haven't heard anything!!

I wouldn't call. Only because she's just going to say the same thing. Palomar said it couldn't be a few weeks as well and that they are still going through applications...but yes better things are to come. As long as we push for what we want to do, we will get there. I'll post as soon as I hear from either school

Just letting the thread know i officially declined my Palomar invite today - so there is at least 1 open seat that will/should be offered this week.

I heard from the program they received "hundreds" of applications and they only selected top 36 students. So they'll be going down the list from there for rejected seats. Good Luck everyone. Will be checking my mail today for Miracosta (i'm not living at that address right now! lol)
