Grossmont College Spring 2025 (San Diego)

Hi everyone! I'm starting a thread for Grossmont College's Spring 2025 admission. I've submitted my application and my stats are as follows: 94.0 TEAS; 4.0 GPA, which make 91 base points. I'm not sure if my language or personal statements will be accepted so I am at 91 points flat.

Yes, I believe that is correct; one initial meeting, and one following that, though it doesn't say how long after the first. I guess that would be a question to ask the counselor during the meeting! I've also begun working through the immunizations sheet.

Met with the academic counselor last week! Went over my transcripts and she said she sent them off to the evaluation team for final review. Waiting impatiently for my permanent acceptance 👀👀

The waiting is killing me too! I met with the counselor last week and she assured me that everything looked good but not having full acceptance yet is so nerve racking!

I don't have my appointment until the 30th! Is there anything we need to have prepared for the counselor or do we just go over transcripts?

It's really low-key. The counselor is really sweet and she is thorough in going through next steps. Together you will go over the courses you'll take through the next four semesters and also go over transcripts and classes you've taken previously. You don't have to have anything prepared for this 🙂

Hi Everyone!

Just got an email saying that my transcripts have been evaluated and that I am welcome to make a counseling appointment to go over the results (email states that it is not mandatory). I sent [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] an email asking if she could tell me the results of my evaluation through email as opposed to making the second appointment so soon. I will update once I receive a response. Evaluation Completion Email.pdf

Yes please let us know! I got the email too and scheduled an appointment with her this Thursday just in case.
