Grossmont College Spring 2025 (San Diego)

Hi everyone! I'm starting a thread for Grossmont College's Spring 2025 admission. I've submitted my application and my stats are as follows: 94.0 TEAS; 4.0 GPA, which make 91 base points. I'm not sure if my language or personal statements will be accepted so I am at 91 points flat.

In case anyone is trying to schedule a second appointment with [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME], I found it's best to call counseling and schedule it over the phone. Her name wasn't showing up when I tried to make an appointment online. Meeting with her tomorrow!

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to provide an update about the email I sent to [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME] yesterday. The first email was regarding whether she could give me my evaluation results through email as opposed to scheduling an appointment. The second email was regarding when, if at all, I should schedule the second appointment, as well as when we will know about the provisional status being lifted. I will attach her responses. Let me know if there is any trouble with opening the pdfs.

Just had my second meeting with [MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME]. She reviewed my evaluation and said everything was in order! The evaluation just double checked that I met the minimum GPA requirement for the gen ED prereqs and that I took all the proper gen ED prereqs (speech, math, English, etc).

The final step is a different set of evaluators to take a final look at my science prereqs. I retook one of the classes because it was so old so someone has to take one last look at that. But she assured me everything looked good and to just wait for my provisional status to be lifted! Cant wait!

I received an email this morning that all of my transcripts had been reviewed and that my provisional status has been lifted! Anyone else?

Ahh so jealous! No I haven't had my status lifted yet but my transcripts were reviewed. Uhh!
