Hi, I am from BC and was wondering if anyone has applied for the Sept 2013 intake. I am curious about the early conditional acceptance that is offered. The academic advisor mentioned that there is specific date for early acceptance, it is first come first serve. With that being said, does anyone know a tentative date in which an applicant would be considered for early acceptance?

You get early acceptance if you meet the proper GPA which is 3.2 I believe. They start giving out acceptances within 4 months of applications opening but the earlier you get in your documents the better.

Yes I did. I don't know if I will get accepted because I sent in my application late (Jan). But I applied to BCIT and I think that is my best shot. How about you?

Yes, I'm in the same situation. I applied late for the fall intake, but I did put one in for the winter one as well. I applied to Bcit again as well, but my expectations aren't too high. I also applied to okanagan college and VIU. It's been so hard to get in in the past so this time I decided to go for as many as possible. Hopefully I get one of them!!

I also applied in grant macewan university- fall intake. I sent my transcripts for evaluation last Friday. I hope we could all get the conditional acceptance. I'm a bit nervous though. I wish the seats are not full yet.

Thank you. I'm applying with post secondary. I graduated and studied nursing in the philippines. So now I want to pursue the profession here in Edmonton. Hopefully if I got in the program, I could transfer credits from my previous subjects.

I hope so too! Lol. I won't know anyone in Edmonton. I am applying with 2 years of post secondary in BC. I am really hoping that I can transfer some of my credits as well because I have completed a bunch of courses that are a part of the program. It would be great to have a reduced course load! Haha we just have to get in first though!

Hey everyone. I applied to Fall 2013 and Winter 2014 but I think I have more of a chance for the Winter semester since I applied to the Fall semester just a couple days ago (i.e., really late by MacEwan standards). I'm really itching to go back to school, need to get my life started. I wish everyone luck!
