I can imagine the smile on your face!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!I am almost through with pre-req's but HAD to let you know I am proud of you....I am beginning to know how hard it is and it will only get harder for me.
Please let us know when you pass the NCLEX :redbeathe
Thanks, I appreciate it. It was definitely something, I'll tell you that. Coming into this field from state corrections/prison work, I don't think I knew what I was getting into. Even being married to a nurse didn't prepare me. :)
Thanks. :)
My advice: Manage your time well, and never ever let yourself begin to steal time from your "family" time bank, for school.
In nursing school, it is too easy to let school and studying become all-encompassing, and you will start neglecting your family relationships. I regret missing a whole lot of trips to see my grandbabies, and the time I was visiting...thinking "I should be home studying!", instead of loving on my babies.

Thank God Almighty, I'm free at last! I graduated tonight from my local ADN program. Only one more step to take before I can append those precious letters, RN, to my signature. :)
Congrats to the rest of you October graduates! Now, to start worrying about passing NCLEX!
