Hey everyone,
I am re-writing my resume for MSN-NP Program. I can't seem to find as much input as I need on the internet. I was wondering if anyone has been in my shoes and can give me some advice.
I assume I don't need to include my undergraduate clinical experience?
I have about a year and a half of experience as an RN so I feel like my resume may be slightly.....empty?
do I include work experience outside of nursing? I.e. Nannying
volunteer opportunities that I participate in, certifications and memberships?
my GPA? which was a 3.37
any help would be very appreciated!!

Hello there,
Well I just got into an FNP program so had to update my resume. Mine is same as one used for work, list your 1.5 years of experience, show your accomplishment, all resumes should have: summary, objective, work experience, skills, education, languages, activities. They just want to see what have you been doing since getting your RN license, you'll be asked to interview and need to be able to convince them that you'll be a successful student and future NP. There's nothing "special" about the NP school resume that wouldn't be on your regular resume. Google nurse resume, monster resume to see how to write one if needed good luck
Obviously lacking format :)
