I just graduated with my BSN in May and have officially become an RN, and I have also started working. I was accepted into Northeastern's Psychiatric NP program for next September and was wondering if there's a school that would allow me to take advanced patho and advanced pharm at the graduate level online over the course of this year so I can get those out of the way. Liberty University said I had to be enrolled in a program. I don't want to be in a degree program I just want to take these two classes.

My graduate school offered coursework only option. You could take two classes - with no clinical component- prior to admission into any program. I know a lot of people who did it while they were waiting to get in or to help their GPA. You may want to ask your school if they offer this. The two you mentioned would be perfect as coursework choices.

I took both classes online with the same goal in mind. I'm presently in an FNP program. Look into Univ of Boston at Amherst for advanced patho and University of Colorado at Denver for advanced pharm. Most any school I applied to accepted the credits from these two schools. I believe I went through the continuing education department at U Mass. The classes were kind of pricey but well worth it in the end, not very difficult in my opinion. If you cannot locate the courses let me know.
Thank you! I will look into those both. I was accepted conditionally into the master's PHMNP program for this September but they needed me to have been working as an RN for at least 2 months before starting classes and it was just too much having just graduated, so they deferred me to next September.

Have you looked into UMass Boston? I think you might be able to take those classes there. I'm not sure whether they're online though.
Also, I'm looking into NEU's PHMNP program for next September. Would you be able to answer some questions for me via PM? I'll be graduating with a BSN this December.
