AF interview with CNO

Hey All,

I just got word that my interview with the CNO is next week here in NC. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or could give me insight on how it might go or what I should prepare for? My recruiter is not the most helpful person or easiest to speak with.

I am an experienced ER nurse with 4 years experience in the ED and 1 year in PICU and I am trying to commission in to the AF, hopefully at the November board.

Thanks in advance

Hi fellow nurses-

I am also currently trying to apply for the boards that meet in January because the wonderful recruiter did not get my physical or interview set up in time for the Nov boards. I see you guys are in NC and I also am in NC. Have you guys heard anything yet and was your recruiter out of Raleigh by chance??

My recruiter was in Raleigh, I was selected for the May 2018 COT. My advice is to be polite and persistent if you have the patience or consider contacting another recruiter close by (in another state). They are all very busy but I have heard some are a bit more motivated than others. Best of luck to you! Feel free to PM me with any questions you have.
