  1. My recruiter was in Raleigh, I was selected for the May 2018 COT. My advice is to be polite and persistent if you have the patience or consider contacting another recruiter close by (in another state). They are all very busy but I have heard some are a bit more motivated than others. Best of luck to you! Feel free to PM me with any questions you have.
  2. I think the best advice is to expect after the holiday and be pleasantly surprised if word comes sooner. Best of luck to you guys. :)
  3. There is a page called COT 18-04 on Facebook, come join us. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
  4. I'm sorry to hear that The good news is that next year you will have two years experience. Wishing you the best and if you still want this, don't give up!
  5. I think a Facebook group is a great idea. Looking forward to meeting you all. I think our class is 18-04.
  6. I didn't get any of that information, just a phone call saying I got selected and the assignment. Recruiter said to expect a letter of acceptance Monday. Hoping you get some good news tomorrow!
  7. I was also selected for May 21st. Mental Health specialty - going to JBER in Anchorage, Alaska!
  8. I was also selected for May 21st! Congrats man.
  9. Mine hasn't responded in two weeks. I don't know what to think anymore.
  10. I think those of us in NC/SC/parts of Georgia probably all have the same recruiter... I haven't heard anything new this week, he's not responding :/ Hopeful for "no later than Monday" though that's the second time I've heard those exact words. Hopefully soon everyone!
  11. I didn't get any word either, my recruiter did send me the SF86 Security Clearance packet "if I were to be selected". From what I can tell however, some people received that during their application packet phase? The hope continues, maybe next week.
  12. These are the fitness standards I was told to go by. http://www.afpc.af.mil/Portals/70/documents/Home/AF%20Fitness%20Program/FITNESS%20CHARTS.pdf I can't speak for the benefits/pay as I do not know myself. Hope this helps some.
  13. All I heard today was "No word yet due to assignment back up" and that I'd be called tomorrow. Disappointing but not at all unexpected. Gotta stay patient and hopeful for tomorrow. :)
  14. Just try to relax! It honestly was not that different from previous interviews I've experienced other than the obviously military specific questions. Let us know how it goes. :)
  15. Hey there, Also in NC. My CNO interview took place at SJAFB. You should be familiar with the Air Force mission and the core values. Also I was asked about specific examples that showed evidence of critical thinking and had to give an example of a previously encountered ethical dilemma. The rest of the interview was basic questions that many others have mentioned including readiness to deploy for yourself and your family, willingness to carry firearms, strengths and weaknesses, etc. Best of luck to you.
