Got all 265 questions on NCLEX... Could I have passed??

Published

I took my NCLEX today and got all 265 questions ... I feel like thats not a good sign. Is it possible that I passed??

Of course it's possible you passed, and it's possible you failed. The only thing that 265 questions means is that you didn't demonstrate competency or incompetency for long enough at any point in the testing for the computer to determine Pass or Fail. People DO pass and DO fail with any number from 75-265. It isn't a "sign" of anything, it is what it is.

Good luck!

People have passed at 75 questions, 265 questions, and every number of questions in between. How did you do in nursing school? If you did well, then it is more probable that you passed. You've gotten through nursing school, you've taken one of the biggest exams of your career. Now, take some time for you instead of worrying over the results. Is there a hobby you haven't had the time to enjoy in a while? Have a book that's been waiting to be read? Some family members that you haven't seen in a while?

We can't tell you hun. That number doesn't mean anything. What you should do now is, relax. Watch a comedy movie or something to cheer you up. If your state participates in quickresults, you'll find out in 48 hours. Just relax until then.

What the above posters said. Just because you got all 265 means nothing. You were probably so close it had to keep asking questions. If it was sure at 75, it would've shut you down then. I failed at 75 and 265 and it's horrible. I passed my final try with maybe 100 questions. It just depends on what you were showing during the test. Good luck and let us know!
