Got my NET Test results!

Published

I PASSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited. I did not feel comfortable with the reading comphrehension portion of the test. I found that to be very difficult because of all the distractions in the room, but I scored very high in that which surprised me. The math portion I aced wooohoooo! One less thing I have to worry about and I am one step closer to applying to my schools nursing program! Good luck to anyone who is waiting for their results, it was so nerve wrecking! I can only imagine how I will be when I am waiting for my letter of acceptance or denial for nursing school. That will come this Septermber! Time to have a party!

congrats on passing the NET! i took mine today and i will find out in a few weeks.

Thank you! How did it go for you? Good luck on getting your results and please let us know how you do!

I also received my NET scores and passed. However, I did way better in math on the NET than I did on the Compass, and way better in reading on the Compass than the NET. So what does that mean?

Anyway, it's all waiting til May now!

Isnt that the truth! That was exactly how it was for me! The Compass math for me was like greek, but the NET math was easy to me. I did great on the reading part of the Compass too. The NET I didnt do that bad on but not as good as I did on the Compass. We PASSED that is all that matters!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!:balloons: :balloons:

OK! It's over with!!!! lol

I made over 50% on the composite reading, and over 50% on the overall composite math. I placed 81% on the NET Composite Score, with a NET Percentile Rank of 97.

The scores we received were a little confusing....I want PASSED or FAILED compared to what my college wants! LOL

Our Nursing packet states, "a minimum of 50 on both the Composite Reading and Overall Composite Math sections of the NET."

So, I'm assuming I don't have to retake the NET!!

It says I'm an independent reader.

Woohooo, I'm above average!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Woooohooooo Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you know if the percentile rank is for those that took the test that day or is it national average type deal? The only reason I am asking is that we scored the same on the composite but the percentiles are different. WTG Girlfriend!!!!! Its such a relief to have that out of the way isnt it?

AHHHHHHH, relief!!! I am so glad that is done!!!

I just took the NET this morning, some parts were so easy and some parts I was shaking and nervous! The math wasn't too bad, I got nervous at one point because I felt like I forgot everything but then I calmed down and felt better.

No one around me finished the reading comprehension, we were all scambling the last 5 minutes to finish all the questions. The last 2 sections, I just read the questions and went back and looked for the answers or try to get idea of what the answer would be from the just looking over the passage.

I am kind of neutral as to how I did, I could have failed miserably or I could have done well. Not really sure, I just hope this doesn't delay my admission but we will see! I don't think my admission to nursing school should be determined by how fast I can read or do long division, but that's the way it goes! :crying2:

Have a good weekend!

I don't know what the NET percentile rank means, it just looked good. :p

It said NET Percentile Rank 97, and Reading Percentile Rank 81.

I didn't like the reading at all!! I'd rather not be timed. I can read pretty fast, but I want to beable to take my time when I'm being tested.

There were about 20 of us in the testing center, but started/finished at different times. We got our scores right after we finished the test, so I'm assuming it doesn't mean of those who took it with me. (Unless it compared my scores to those who finished before me.)

Actually, out of those who started before me, only 1 finished before me. Makes me wonder if the other 9 of the first row took too long to answer their questions.

...and YES!! It does make me feel sooooo much better to know it's out of the way!

Hope you pass!! I totally understand about the timed thing...lol
