FINANCIAL AID HAS BEEN AWARDED!!! HAVE ENOUGH TO GET ME THROUGH 3 SEMESTERS PART TIME!!! STILL IN PRE REQS BUT I'M GETTING THERE!!!!:balloons::monkeydance:

Oh, that is awesome!!! Congrats!!! Definitely a huge help...I am hoping to get financial aid, but still waiting to hear. Not sure that I'll get it...I think my DH and I make too much. :uhoh3: Right...not nearly enough!

I THINK I HAD MORE TROUBLE THAN ANYBODY I KNOW! TURNED DOWN BY 15 COMPANIES! :o STAFFORD LOANS ARE THE ONLY THING I CAN GET. $6625 FIRST YEAR $7500 SECOND YEAR. NOT ENOUGH FOR FULL TIME BUT THE AMOUNT INCREASES EVERY YEAR. JUST HAVE TO START OFF PART TIME AND WORK UP. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

I'M GOING TO UNIV OF TN AT MARTIN. CAN ONLY TAKE TWO CLASSES A TIME BECAUSE I WORK 56 HRS A WK. TAKING ENG 112 AND PSY 120 THIS TIME. GOING TO TAKE ME FOREVER TO FINISH BUT I'M TRYING TO PAY OFF AS MANY BILLS AS POSSIBLE SO I CAN GO FULL TIME. GAVE UP MY HOUSE AND ME AND DH MOVED IN WITH MY FIL TO SAVE MONEY. GETTING THERE SLOWLY BUT SURELY. WHAT ARE YOU TAKING THIS SEMESTER?

I got rid of my mega-mortgage payment, moved closer to pa/md line where my hubby is a police officer..and said enough is enough...i live in a wonderful farm house and im content. I said i can chase "material things" for the rest of my life. Getting my degree is something i have to do for every reason i can imagine. He only has 7 years left..by then i will be done and hopefully money wont be an issue anymore!!! ;)
