Um never use beta blocker before exam. Decrease cardiac out = decrease blood flow to the brain.
You will find that most doctors prescribe a beta blocker as oppose to zanax because beta blocker helps with the physical effects an individual may have when the are having anxiety for example increased heart rate, sweating of the palms, etc.
What works for one person may not work for the other please keep that in mind. Lets encourage others and give help advice also continue to pray.

I just got my new ATT and scheduled my NCLEX-RN for the thrid week in January.....I am pretty stressed already since I have taken it 3 times and failed.....this is my last try b/c the state of Utah gives you 4 tries and after that you are all done and can never test in the state again! I have extremely bad test anxiety and have been prescribed a beta-blocker to help with my anxiety. I have been using Saunders and LaCharity to study, took Kaplan and it did nothing for me. Any other words of advice on how to study and what other books are good?
