Got ATT.... but am I OK to schedule?

OK, so a bunch of people from my school are having an issue. A few of us got our ATTs, but the Nursing department staff say that we can't schedule our NCLEXs yet because they haven't sent our transcripts in to the BRN. We graduated a week ago, so we're definitely done with our ADNs. The college has posted our official grades, but for some reason we're being told that it'll take until mid-July before we're REALLY eligible?? HUH? That doesn't make sense to me. I've done the work, I've graduated, and Pearson says I'm eligible to take the test. Why should I hafta wait because administration takes WAAAAYYY too long doing paperwork? I have 2 potential jobs contingent on me being licensed by mid-July, so that's a big potential loss for me if I have to postpone my test.

Any thoughts??

I think if you have your ATT you can test. My school ran behind as well, but we could not get our ATT. Once we did, we all signed up. Try registering maybe?

That's not my issue- I already have my ATT. My issue is someone from my school telling me I have to wait for them to send transcripts in, even though I already have my ATT. :banghead:

Test. But you will not be able to receive your license until your file is complete. Any way you approach it, your school is your holdup.

I would call pearson vue or your board of nursing. I was told by my school in May that I couldn't apply or register even until they sent my transcripts because we wouldn't be able to get our ATT until they had the transcript so I would think you are fine to schedule.
