Gordon State College Fall 2019 Hopefuls

Published

Fall 2019 Hopeful. Wanted a place where we could keep in touch as letters start arriving. Took Kaplan today. ((Passed)) Adver advised we should start hearing something by Mid-Late September. Good Luck everyone!!

Hello. I am taking the Kaplan test on next week. I have been studying a lot for this test. If you don't mind me asking, what study material did you use to help you with the test? I just want to make sure that I haven't been over studying or focusing on the wrong material. If that makes since. Thanks.

I am sorry. I am responding so late. I have been out of town on vacation. I studied all the systems of the body and their main functions. Definitely focus on cardiovascular, respitory, and the brain. I also googled a lot of blogs of people who had previously taken the Kaplan, since there was very little study material. Hoped this helped some. Good Luck!!

Hello did you get accepted? I'll be applying in December of 2019. I have five classes that I'll be finishing next year. I am doing the bridge. Was it a hard process? Thank you.

Hey, i'm applying for the bridge program for fall 2019! Application just opened yesterday and I am almost ready to submit... im hoping to get in but i only have 60% of the pre-reqs done instead of the "recommended" 70-80% so i dont know if they will consider me even though i know i will finish all classes before fall semester.

Hi, have you heard anything back yet? I applied for Fall 2019 too. I passed the Kaplan. I thought we would have heard something back by now. September seems too late to hear something back.

hey, I would contact the school as soon as you can, you should have heard SOMETHING. I got an acceptance letter via email on the 1st. I applied for the bridge program for associates. the bachelors rn applicants started getting their letters (in the mail) in late february... there could have been a mixup... call them asap!

did you end up applying in December?

I applied for the BSN program for fall. I took the kaplan and passed in January. Applications were due January 15th and i turned everything in a week before then. I haven't gotten an email or anything.

Even if you don't get in, do they send you a letter or something?

im pretty sure they send denial letters too. you should call or come to the campus and ask... for the bsn they sent out real letters so maybe there was a mixup with addresses.

I just spoke to the department. She told me the letters come out in waves. So the letters for the people who have completed everything have already gone out. I had one literature class Gordon required, and I'm in that now. So Idk. She pulled my file and took my number and told me someone would be calling me back.
