I got accepted to the program with 20 points, as did my friend. Nobody else we know has been accepted, although I heard that some students were accepted with 18 points.
In two semesters, Goodwin is switching from the NLN to the TEAS. No big deal, just be sure to study for the right exam. Make sure you have 7 classes (7 points), keep a GPA of at least 3.5 (3 points) and KILL it on the NLN/TEAS, whichever it is when you take it.
The coursework is much more extensive than it is at community colleges, but Goodwin is pricey, and you definitely get what you pay for. The materials and the professors are excellent, but if you want to know the information, you could learn it anywhere. The Goodwin professors are there to actually help you.
RN-Nurse, it's good to try to maximize your points as much as possible. I walked into the TEAS Jan 2017 with BA, 3.96 GPA, 7 classes (that were taken already) = 14 points walking into the TEAS. Acceptance cut off for May 2017 was at 16 points. IT is possible to get accepted if you score really high on your TEAS test. Stay positive you will get there. I actually start summer 2017 and I'm excited!
BNS24 I know the feeling. Our cutoff was at 16. You never know! Just keep focus and maintain a positive attitude. Keep thinking you will get in and you will! Did you purchase the study Manuel, practice exams, or even watch YouTube for teas 6 studying. There's a guy keshwani he goes over every single math problem in the book. Let me know if you need some good spirits!
Hukanny, yes. Both a and b test guides from
The ATI website. I read the ATI study manual and watched YouTube videos from another site. It's crazy. You are totally right with positivity through! Do you know how many applied? I heard around 300 which is crazy! Hope your first couple days are going well in the program!

I was wondering what the point cutoff for summer 2017 is if anyone knows. I will be taking the TEAS test in May and going in with 12 points...bachelors, 4.0GPA, 5 courses at Goodwin so I was wondering what point range they are accepting so I know how high I need to score on the test. Also, is it possible to be accepted with only 5 courses and not 7??
