  1. You couldn't have said it any better! I just started and my first exam for nur 100 is Monday. I'm overwhelmed and I've cried. Lots of studying and everyone is different. I study everyday prob 3 hours or more to go over the stuff. Reading material is intense, but we all can't memorize everything. Is there any advice you can give for nur 100?
  2. BNS24 I know the feeling. Our cutoff was at 16. You never know! Just keep focus and maintain a positive attitude. Keep thinking you will get in and you will! Did you purchase the study Manuel, practice exams, or even watch YouTube for teas 6 studying. There's a guy keshwani he goes over every single math problem in the book. Let me know if you need some good spirits!
  3. Hi Fittiff, yes we started 100 this week and I have my first clinical lab today! It was overwhelming but everyone is so nice! The support system at Goodwin is amazing.
  4. BNS24 just stay positive, I literally been in the same position you were in, and now it's just a waiting game. Wishing you all the best of luck! I'm here if you need any support or advice.
  5. I know, the point system at Goodwin can be tricky, and competitive. Good luck the waiting game for acceptance package.
  6. RN-Nurse, it's good to try to maximize your points as much as possible. I walked into the TEAS Jan 2017 with BA, 3.96 GPA, 7 classes (that were taken already) = 14 points walking into the TEAS. Acceptance cut off for May 2017 was at 16 points. IT is possible to get accepted if you score really high on your TEAS test. Stay positive you will get there. I actually start summer 2017 and I'm excited!
  7. Hello javi2316, I was also accepted for summer 2017. The waiting game is over, we will be starting soon. Which day did you register nur 100? I am actually meeting with the nursing department early since I wont be here for orientation on the 29th. I will be out of the country. Maybe we will be in the same class together! congrats!
  8. Yes I got the deans list already, I just have to wait, and it's driving me nuts. I might just go get my cpr certification since I have a semester off. Thanks for commenting! Have a good semester
  9. Yeah I know what you mean about the thin envelop, thinking that's the denial letter?!? So when you get accepted there's a thick package ?? So if I see a thin envelop I already know it's a denial letter then right? I have crazy anxiety and it's a long time to wait till I hear anything. I'll keep crossing my fingers! Thanks for the response and encouragement
  10. Yes that's exactly what I have done, I already have my BA from saint joseph. I took all the BSN electives so once I'm in the program I just have to take my core classes. Just a waiting game now, and if I don't get in I have all semester to study and prepare myself for the TEAs all over again
  11. I'm glad it's working out for you! I just took the TEAS today and let's see how it goes. Chelsea said the admitted score maybe low since the average score for TEAS is between 60-70. Crossing fingers and are you taking any other classes besides clinicals and the nursing lecture?
  12. did you get in for Jan 2017? Good luck to you!
  13. how do you like it so far in the nursing program? I read so many mix reviews....
  14. Hey! How did you do on the TEAS or are you taking it tomorrow? I just took it today and who knows what the admitting points score is for May 2017. It may seem like it's impossible to get in, but it's just a waiting game. I am at a solid 14 points before taking the TEAS, wishing you good luck, and maybe see you in the future!
