Hi,
I am looking for somewhere around the Portland area to buy some scrubs. I would like to try them on before I make a purchase. The last time I bought some mail-order, they just didn't fit very good. Besides, I like to fondle the fabric a little!
Somebody recommended Scrub Med, they look pretty expensive. Are they worth it? And I found a Life Uniform store, but is there anything else?
thanks for any help

and was wondering if you ever found a place to buy scrubs? Something near downtown preferably.
Thanks,

I am a new nurse and I bought scrubs from scrub med during the summer sale. i love the beautiful patterns, and the sturdy cargo pants.
The clincher for me is my preceptor who has been a nurse for ever and ever and still wears scrubs from scrub med that she bought 15 years ago! they really still look new. The quality and durability is totally worth the price. incidentally scrub med was started by a nurse from ohsu.

scrub med! A bit expensive but imo the nicest and for sure the best quality. I have seen many nurses bummed about finally having to finally replace their favorite worn pants after 10+ years, and the styles always stay nice! I can think of a few shirts I have had since 97 that still look great!

Quilter LPN, I know you have a decent machine at home. Go fabric nuts. Two yards of something you love will still come in under retail scrubs.
New Look has $2.99 patterns. Two pieces plus pockets, I know you can sew a straight seam, and you're done.
