I wanted to take the time to wish all first semester students who start tommorow Jan. 9th good luck. We will all do wonderful even though we are nervous now. I have not posted much on the boards although I am constantly reading other's posts. I hope to post more and get to know you all as we go through this amazing journey together. And for everyone that does not start tommorow, enjoy the rest of your break and good luck to you when you do start.

Hi to all. How is it going for everyone. I have had a crazy week. We start clinical in three weeks! This semester we have med-surg and OR. We have to do our return demos. on foleys, NG tubes, transfers, enemas and sterile dressing changes. It has been overwhelmong but also very exciting. I hope you guys are having as much fun as I am.

Thank you guys for taking the time to tell us good luck. My first day was sooooo exhausting. Its ALOT of information to take in. I am in an accelerated program and I honestly dont know how I will manage everything. Im not married and have no kids, I still live at home ( im only 20) but it still looks like ALOt of material. They e-mailed us the day before we started class and told us to read chapter 4 before we came to class, which wasnt so bad because it was only like 20-25 pages. But i really wanna do good so yesterrday I pull out our lab manual and I start doing the study guide that accompanies the chapter. I felt like such a nerd but I just want to make sure that I learn everything and that I dont miss out on anything. Ok well im off to school now so good luck to everyone else!!!!!!

I just finished with dosage..whew.

But now I have to read 19 chapters before the 30th and our first week we have a quiz and the next week a test.

Well....off to read LOL:rotfl:

At the top left of each forum there is a button that says "new thread". Click on that, put in a title and then just type away!
