I just mailed away my application for the 2014 ADN program and I was curious from past students what a competitive amount of points is. I have 89/100 because I am not a vet, do not speak another language, and was advanced on the TEAS test (not exemplary). I know from attending the Cypress College orientation that everyone who got in there this past application period, and some of waitlist, had 30/30 points, but GWC does not have a live orientation so I can't really gauge their numbers. Any help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated!
I also got in to gwc, do any of you know of a place to get your cpr certification?
Did u get in for the fall? Or spring?
I assumed fall would've gotten their info already about what they need and where to go for CPR.
(I was admitted into spring) and the email I got said to not sign up for any CPR course until they send us another email in August giving further instructions and important information.
yes i got in for fall, i was hoping they would tell us where to go but they just said it had to be with the american heart association and bls for healthcare provider
Go to the American heart association site there's a link to search for classes ...
Here:
Put in your zip code and then it'll ask what type of course needed ...BLS for healthcare providers is available in the drop down menu...if this is the course type they were requesting in the email they sent you. ...should provide you with quote a few locations near you to contact and sign up for :)

I think they should have sent you a letter. Not 100% sure. If I were you, I'd email them ([email protected]) Or call. They usually respond within a day or two.
