Awesome. Thanks. I just got accepted yesterday and have no clue what's going on since I won't be given an orientation. Could I ask you a question. Do we register in NURS 191 & 192 right now and register for 193 later? I see it starts 4/4. Or do we register for it now?

What time is the family night at tonight?

So funny thing about stanbridge; a few friends/coworkers all applied, but none of use got interviews. We all scored very well on the entrance test and have great grades. Another person we know barely made the cut off for English and didn't pass the math portion of the test, but was asked to interview. We all have hospital experience (us who passed and the person who didn't). Us who passed the test all have our AA degree and nursing prerequisites done, which seems to appear that stanbridge doesn't like, won't make enough money off us?

I got on the alternate list again this year. Let's hope people actually drop this year.

Nope, not yet. On the website it says the update was from Jan, 27th for them mailing out the notifications, which is wrong. Maybe they meant feb, 27th? I don't know If they're doing it the same this year or not, but last year they had sent out the rejection and ineligible letters first then the acceptance and alternate letters. So, if you haven't gotten it yet, might be a good thing.

Turtleloo, any drops in the roster after the deadline?

I don't remember how many points I had. I know I didn't have too many. I think I had around 44 also, but I might be wrong.

Ah, good to know. I recently called and they told me the same thing. I thought maybe I was just super low on the list and they didn't have to heart to tell me. Haha. This whole waiting game is killing me!

Has anyone called and tried to find out where they are on the alternate list? If so did they tell you where you were on it?

Hey everyone! I was selected as an alternate for Golden West for Fall 14 and Spring 15. I was just wondering has anyone from the alternate list been selected yet? If so how did they contact you?

Check out the CPR Lady. She's located in Irvine. Makes the class easy and comfortable for people with non clinical experience or prior BLS experience.

Oh sorry, I didn't mean a letter as in to tell you that you're an alternate. I meant it for contacting you about filling a spot.

Does anyone know for the alternates if they mail you an acceptance letter, email, or call you? Have any of the alternates been contacted about spots?
