Hey! It might be a little early to start this, given that applications aren't open yet, but I noticed that the multi-criteria points system was updated in September 2022. I thought I remembered being in better shape when I looked at the old points system in past semesters ? so I was curious to hear from anyone else who is planning to apply and see where we all stand.
I haven't taken the TEAS yet, but not including my TEAS score I have 56 points so far, and I'll have a max of 81 depending on my score.

I emailed my transcript to someone at CSUSB in the admissions dept. after I had signed my acceptance letter, but I'm not sure if I still have to submit. Also, on June 1st, they're having orientation. I'm not sure if we have to be there in person though, cause I haven't received a Zoom link. I'm also wondering when they'll let us know about submitting our documents through Complio? A discord would be nice ^_^
I got a late offer to CEP program and just took it, totally missed 7/3 zoom meeting. I'm trying to catch up with all the requirements from CSU, how is your going so far? Have you joined any group?
@Kenji12345 I have a question regarding the personal information page on complio, specifically the residential history. I have moved out of my family home but kept that address for mail purposes. And I do not use the address at the apartment where I physically live in. Since there is a section about additional locations, is it smart to just include my apartment address? Or should I just use my home address to avoid any conflict? I do not want to make a mistake that would hinder my status since this is the background check portion.
@Whit Gregory RDCS RVT did they get back at you yet? There is so much information ?

Hi @dlhnt,
I would just include it personally, but I don't believe it will affect you either way.
Hope that helps,
Kenji

It was mandatory for us, but considering what you have, reach out to Nursing Office and see if you can work something out. Letting them know in advance is only going to increase your chances their willingness to work with you.
@Kenji12345 Yes, they are going to excuse me from orientation due to the circumstance, but I am responsible for making sure I obtain all of the information via their slideshow and asking peers if I have questions. I really wish I could go to it in person. If everything wasn't paid for I would definitely just cancel.
@Kenji12345 Do you have a sample first-semester schedule? Wondering how many hours are in class and how many clinical days there are per week. Do you start first semester with a 12 hour clinical shift? I know GW will include this in the orientation but I was just curious.

I can tell you my schedule last semester as a first semester student.
G160 lecture Tuesday from 8am-12:15pm on campus
G131 lecture Tuesday from 5:30pm-7:35pm (1st 8 weeks only, via zoom)
G160 clinical Thursdays 7am-5pm on campus and approx 8am-6pm when I was at Saddleback for specific weeks
G160 lab Fridays 8am-4pm on campus
It looks like your class in the fall (unless they change it) will be G160 on Mondays at 7:50am-12:05pm, G131 on Mondays at 2pm-4:15pm via zoom for 1st 8 weeks, lab and clinical days will be randomly assigned, lab was assigned either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday and clinical was assigned either Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. You can not choose or switch since it's randomly assigned.

Golden West nursing is only Fall and Spring so you have summers off (unless you do concurrent BSN during the summers) and you have Winter break mid Dec to the end of Jan off.
Thanks @violet_flower I am Spring '24 cohort but that does give me a good idea of expectations. Do you think it is reasonable to work while doing first semester if I already have my CNA?

Hey! As for all the requirements, I finished the basic BBP one, RN to BSN handbook, etc that were due June 12th. I was a lil late on some of them, but I don't think those are a big deal. The more important ones like the background check and drug screening I finished. I'm waiting to take my physical and test for titers next week. I'm confused about the CPR certification tho.

Thanks, Hannah, I'll look for it. for CPR certification, make sure it is BLS that AHA qualified. When I was looking for some classes near me, many websites advertised for BLS but not AHA popped up, make sure you get it done in person, not online. Some locations in Orange have all weekday and weekend schedules, very much you can get it done the next day, or on the same day.
