I read a lot of posts on here and enjoy seeing everyone supporting each other! I am taking NCLEX on July 16th. I graduated on June 16th and interviewed for a RN residency position two days after, and then I was offered the position a couple of days later!!! So excited....but here is where I FREAK out! I have to pass the NCLEX in order to keep position....eeeKKKK!
I have been using Kaplan since we had it through school. I am doing okay on the QTs.
QT1 61.3
QT2 46.7- this pretty bad...Don't think I was focused
QT3 47- Not focused
QT4 52.7
QT5 52
QT6 58.5
QT7 55.8
Diagnostic 63.9
Readiness 64.4
So what I am wondering is how many of you scored similar scores and felt ready enough to test and passed? I know they say to try and get in the 60s on the QTs, but for some reason I am not getting there. I did much better on diagnostic and readiness and Kaplan instructor said with that readiness score I have a 95.9% chance of passing. That's a high #, but still I am freaked out just like everyone else. I have three weeks, but then another issue I have is that I work NOC shifts as a PCA, two nights a week....I guess I just needed to vent...and looking for reassurance and support from others in the same boat.
Good luck to everyone testing soon and CONGRATULATIONS to those that passed!!
