Is this a vagal response? PLEASE HELP
As far as I can recall: Some information on the vasovagal response can be found here: The vasovagal response. - PubMed - NCBI In short it is activation of the parasympathetic system (Rest and Digest) via the vagus nerve. The effect the vagal response would have directly is a drop in blood pressure and a drop in heart rate, not an increase. If an increase in heart rate was seen it would be due to a reflex tachycardia, however the heart is predominately under parasympathetic control so it is unlikely you would see an immediate reflex tachy while the parasympathetic system was being activated. However make to confirm the accuracy of this as I am just going by that article and off the top of my head

Reschedule? Kaplan Scores
Here are the results of my sample tests: Sample test 1: 64.0% Sample test 2: 66.0% Sample test 3 (priorities): 90% Sample test 4 (alternate): 40% (with 24% of questions missed by 1 option) Should I push the test back a few weeks?

Reschedule? Kaplan Scores
Well I just completed another 400 Questions, starting to get tired but I want to see most of the material before my test and I won't have time tomorrow. I averaged a 70% over those 400 questions. I am pretty strong at the priority questions, depends on the topic for SATA. Im going to try a few of the sample exams now and I will repost and hopefully I will find time tonight to do the pharm assessment

Are my scores good enough?
If those are Kaplan scores I believe your scores have a strong correlation to success

Reschedule? Kaplan Scores
Here is my situation, I write my test on Tuesday and have until tomorrow afternoon to reschedule. I am most concerned that I have been far to busy and haven't actually reviewed any material (I am especially worried that I haven't reviewed pharmacology). My Kaplan scores in order of when I took them are as follows: Diagnostic: 58.3% Readiness: 70.6% QT1: 60.0% QT2: 57.3% QT3: 61.0% QT4: 59.3% QT5: 58.7% QT6: 63.0% QT7: 62.6% QBank(400): 67.0% Should I push my test back a bit?

Going for it July 16th!!!
I just got my ATT yesterday, I think I am going to take it on the same day. So far my scores are (just started QT yesterday) Diagnostic- 58.3% Readiness- 70.6% QT1- 60% QT2- 57.3% QT3- 61.0% My biggest concern is that it doesn't seem my scores are improving! Currently I am doing 100+ questions daily with full review of them while taking notes. Once I am 1/2 through the questions I will redo tests as well as the normal 100 questions. I am making a little graph tracking my progress, on new tests my goal is to be scoring 68%+ by the time I am half way through the questions. Once I start to redo the previous tests my goal is to score 80% or higher.

Reschedule NCLEX-RN?!!
In my own opinion an 89% predicted pass rate is fantastic. 1% difference is statistically insignificant, if you take a 100question test and misread 1 question wrong and get an 89 instead of a 90 does that mean you don't know the information? Also if someone told me that if I rolled a 100 sided dice and I rolled a 1-89 I passed and 90-100 I failed I would roll that dice and If I misrolled, I would study harder and roll it again later.

NCLEX-RN and Kaplan Correlation
Hello everyone my first forum post here! I just graduated nursing school and am awaiting my ATT. My school required us to take Kaplan integrated with our school work. I was wondering if anyone knew the correlation to the Kaplan tests and success on the NCLEX. On my diagnostic test I received just below a 60%. On my readiness test I received just over a 70%. I haven't utilized any of their other resources yet (Qbank, Question trainers, videos) and I also have not started content review (been too busy with work and I do not know when my test is so I did not want to use up all my resources early). What is the liklihood I will pass the NCLEX? What steps should I take from here?
