God keeps on sending me blessings!

I got a call yesterday and I got an apartment on campus to live in while I'm in nursing school! It has free cable, internet, water, and phone; since it is paid up by financial aid, I won't have to worry about rent either. The money I got as a loan to live in an aparment off campus is now free for me to get the kids a few more Christmas presents and maybe buy a few nice things for the apartment as well as my uniforms and nursing books. This is way more than I could ever ask for because I thought I wouldn't get one because of the waiting list. Now I can go to school and focus on my education and not worry that I'll spend all my refund money.

Wow! That is really a blessing! Thanks be to God! I am soooooo excited for you. This will take a huge load off your shoulders. My hubby always reminds me to not worry because to worry is to doubt the Lord who takes care of us always. And I have to witness here...God may not give me the abundance that I want, but He never gives me less than what I need financially...and He has made me a wealthy woman in love and happiness!!!

Congrats to CRNA, I can only guess that the help you will receive will take a huge burden off of you, so you can concentrate on your education.

Re: asoliderswife's post - your husband is so right. I heard the following quote a few years ago and have since then tried to live by it. "If you worry, why Pray? If you Pray, why Worry?"

Being a Nursing Student, it's been so hard not to be in a constant state of "worry" about the next test, passing the next semester, etc. I've realized that "worrying" doesn't help you pass a test, perform better in clinicals or have more confidence in your abilities as a Nurse - the only thing it does is cause you more stress and give you "ulcers". Prayer however can bring you great peace of mind and greatly reduce all the "stresses" that are part of obtaining your Nursing Degree. If he brought you to it, he'll see you through it. All of us have to have enough Faith to keep doing our best and know that there is a "light" at the end of the "Nursing School Tunnel"... Praying that we'll all have the Faith it takes to make it through. Sue

Sue, that one is going on my fridge! And in my books, and my car, etc.....

That has got to be one of the most motivational words I have heard that really made an impact on me. Thank you!
