Hey guys, I promised that I would right up my story for people to see how amazing God is if I passed my exam lol! So here it is for anyone who may be in my position and needs some barer of good news!
I took my exam the first time and I failed. It stopped at 80questions and I had around 18 SATA. I was completely devastated and could not believe it! It took me about 5 months to get back on track and take my exam again. I took it the first time in November and the second time in May. I did all Kaplan questions, which were over 1700 Qbank questions. MY ADVICE to all the studiers out there is the following: TAKE YOUR TIME, and follow your gut! When you are doing your practice questions take your time to talk yourself through the question, write down what the question is asking you and what you believe the answer is…THEN look at the answers and eliminate each answer as you go until you are left with the correct answer! This is the sole reason of how and why I passed my NCLEX in addition to GOD first and before most. I went to 242 questions the second time around! Time ran out on me, I was the last one in the whole place that everyone was waiting on, and I WAS SOO EXHAUSTED! I was so freaked out that time was running out that I started to rush L. DO NOT DO THAT! They count your last 60 questions in case you run out of time, which means, TAKE YOUR TIME TO GET THOSE QUETSIONS RIGHT! I walked out knowing I failed more than the first time around. BUT as usual, God always prevails! No work goes unnoticed in God's eyes, and your hard work will pay off in due time, have faith in that J
So, I went home, started crying a lot and decided, I am too scared to do the Pearson Vue trick, so I didn't! But I was checking the board's web for my name to show up soooo many times, everyday! NOTHING L So I started freaking out and believing that I failed again. All the signs were pointing to failure! 2 weeks pass and nothing. 3 weeks pass and STILL NOTHING! So I continued praying and I asked good to give me some sort of a sign of what is going on, whether it may be a fail or a pass and I decided to do the Pearson Vue trick/resign-up for my exam. AND I WAS SHOCKED WITH THE GOOD POP-UPâ€. It states, Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this timeâ€. I somewhat convinced and thankful that there is a chance that I passed. BUT WHY ARE MY RESLUTS STILL NOT SHOWING UP ON THE BRN IF I PASSED?!?! I was still skeptical. SO week 4 comes and still nothing, and so I decided to call the BRN. I have called before and people where very stern and rude so I prayed right before and I asked that Saint Mary be the one to talk to me…And of course, God delivers! The sweetest and nicest lady answers the phone and she says like almost everyone else you have to wait and be patient for 4-6 weeks so I said, Indeed I HAVE! So she looked up my file and she said, I am going to have to email them and see why nothing has shown up yetâ€!!!! So I started crying and it didn't really register that she meant she's going to ask why my license is not on the website yet! So I started crying and I told her I am so freaked out and I have been waiting so long, so she responded and said, everything looks good on my end, just be patient and check the website in 2 days.†And in two days, there it was, RN License number!!!! AHHHH It was the best feeling in the world. Despite all the negative things I read online and all the signs that pointed to me likely failing, prayer and faith and the work of GOD got me through this one!
This is all in the state of California, so I know how you guys feel with their uncertainty and lag time with processing and results and all! And unfortunately, we have no quick results either L So be positive and have faith, God is got this! Good Luck everyone J
