I didn't see any threads for the GMU's ABSN 2019 cohort and wanted to start one. Please feel free to share your experience, journey, stats, issues, questions, and hopefully acceptance.
The GMU's website now says the BSN application is finally open, but I'm still unable to create an account to start my application. They have been experiencing some technical difficulties with their website. Very frustrating, but I'm both hopeful and excited about applying.
I am also waiting to hear back from the nursing program. I got lower on HESI but I completed all my pre req and other class with good GPA. Hoping for the best...
That's great. I wish you all the best. Just by reading past years' threads, it seems that all posters reported they accepted into the GMU ABSN and almost nobody was denied admission. I have a feeling that those who post online are amongst the most competitive candidates.
I just looked today at the application status and mine says the review process is completed. That means the decision letters should be e-mailed soon!!! I'm so nervous!
I’m not sure it would be nice if it was this week! When my GMU transfer application review was complete the acceptance email was sent the next day but I wouldn’t count on it for the ABSN though. So let the waiting continue lol

Hopeful_NP when I look under my application it says under review also but when I clicked on the drop down Actions menu & selected progress it says Under Review completed. So I just had to drill down to see the step by step progress.

Mine now says Under review Completed. I feel that we will hear some news very soon. Thank you.
Guys I'm super nervous as well. I have lower hesi with a 82 and 4.0 gpa on my prereqs and currently in stats which should be done by may. I am a foreign medical graduate who has two year of clinical rotations and had taken my usmles. I don't know guys let's pray we hear good news soon.
I think once the application status step Notification/Decisions is at In Progress we will hear soon. Mine still says Not Started. Hopefully we will know no later than the beginning of April at the latest.
