Hi folks!
I'm about to enter Nursing 1 at GCC and I thought this would be a pretty opportunity to set up a place to vent and get advise. I'm both excited and nervous about this fall. Maybe it's because every chance the faculty speaks to us, they make it seem we should consider forgetting everything in our lives and just prepare for the most difficult task ever undertaken by man. Not that I think it's not going to be difficult, but common! Anybody else have any thoughts?
Ohh.. and bye the way, Congrats on getting in and God help us!
Hello All,
Long time no talk. I feel like a bear who just woke up from a long winters nap. THANK GOD IT'S OVER!!!! For about a week and then I have to take that damn Issues and trends class.... Are we all safe? I never thought I'd be so happy to get a C in my entire life. But Wahoo! I'm going to party like it's 1999.
I'm a first semester nursing student. So far the material doesn't seem too hard, but I'm having trouble figuring out exactly what they want as far as assessments on the care plans goes. I think I'm doing better now, at the beginning of the semester before they covered the subjects it was tough!

I'm really glad this semester has finally ended. It was stressful... but I'm looking forward to the Fall, when I get to start the nursing program at GCC!
