Giving COVID vaccine

Published

Anyone know what companies are hiring nurses to administer the COVID vaccine?

Specializes in Mental health, substance abuse, geriatrics, PCU.

A lot of staffing and travel companies

Try looking on Indeed, Linkedin, Glassdoor, that's where I've seen most of the ads

Specializes in Vents, Telemetry, Home Care, Home infusion.

CVS  (Eastern US) and Walgreens (Western US) have contracts to provide immunizations in multiple states and are hiring in many areas.

To Volunteer, contact your states/counties  Medical Reserve Corps  (MRC) to sign-up to help with COVID immunizations.

One can find local MRC here:  https://mrc.hhs.gov/FindMRC

MRC is a local-level branch of the Federal Citizen Corps, a federally run volunteer program  whose members are used during public health emergencies, including pandemics, and can help provide emergency medical services, vaccine distribution, and assist with logistics.

Specializes in Mental health, substance abuse, geriatrics, PCU.

All these ads locally wanting nurses for vaccinations giving high wages, and the department of health professions in my state sent out an email asking for "volunteer vaccinators", ? yeah that's not gonna happen.

Indeed dot com has ad after ad in my area for this.  Various companies are offering $40 or even $50 an hour.  I can't see anyone volunteering when they could get $50 an hour for their time and effort.
