I don't personally have anything on my background but I know several new grads who did and still were able to get jobs. Just know that they will be watching u if they hire u. My job hired a nurse with DUI on her record and she was also hired at other places. Some hospitals like Grady Memorial will give u an opportunity. HTH!!
Thanks for the info but I got two jobs already....
Fantastic!!!

Hey when you got these jobs did your you offense show up on the background check and they still decided to hire you? And if you dont mind me askin, what did you get in trouble for? I only ask because I was offered a job already and was fingerprinted yesterday and I have one misdemeanor that has not been expunged yet (damn slow system). I guess Im just wanting to know if they asked you about your offenses or if they just ignored them? There were no questions on my job appilcation or throughout my new hire paperwork that allowed me to bring up my conviction so i did not disclose it to them? Any advise?

Good day,
That is GREAT!!!
Have you ever thought about applying for a Pardon (for felony criminal convictions) from the state that the incident happened in? That way, no matter where you do apply for a job, the past charges can not be held against you. Each state laws vary in this area but it's worth checking into. I took a few paralegal courses and received a paralegal certificate (I wanted to gain some knowledge about the law).
Knowledge is Power
Peace:)

I'm planning on endorsing by license to Georgia I'm so worried because I have a felony that's 10 years old. Will they still allow me to endorse from New York?
You shouldn't have a problem at all.

When you receive the jobs did you answer yes to the questions, when it say we're you ever convicted, because my felony is almost 10 years old and also sealed,I'm just kinda nervous about the hold process knowing Ga are able to legally denied an application but I spoke to Florida board of nursing they told me not to worry and the school where I'm going to do the program, they said I shouldn't have problem....I'm just concerned about when I stArt applying to jobs in Florida and Georgia should I put yes or no on the application????
