See if you can use the student health clinic now that you've been accepted or do they have an agreement with one (like at SFU or UCSF)? I got my physical exam for PA school free at the student health clinic. If I remember the Varicella titre was around $35 but that was a long time ago.
Otherwise consider the local walmart clinic or county health department if there is one available. Finally you might check with the program and see if they have any answers. This question has probably been asked before. You might also check with your hospitals employees health program. They can do the varicella titer and possibly the physical. Hopefully you would find a sympathetic person there.

Labs and vaccinations are usually cheapest at your public health department. I think my Varicella titer was about $100 several years ago.

As the others have mentioned, try your local county public health clinic.

look for FQHC facilities in your area, they serve the uninsured and they have slides, meaning they will bill you base on your income. Some facilities will charge you 10$ copay and five dollars per lab work. Others were charged $25 or higher per visit.

Check your local health department, I know ours here you can get a physical done along with tb test and some other routine shots done for around 45$ you would just have to make an appointment though.:wink2:

I would try calling for a price at HealthCheckUSA.com. That's where I got my titer for varicella for $45. First call cause I think their prices change from time to time. I liked it cause I didn't need a doctor"s order, you just walk in and ask for the test.
