Gerontology summer 2013

Anyone taking Gerontology summer semester? Any insight what I should expect? I just took Global Health and spent 25 hrs a week on a 3 credit hour course. Hoping for a whole lot less work.

Got my grade back on that paper. Evidently when I feel like I did horribly I did really well. Waiting on my DB grade. I'm sort of looking forward to the assignment this week. Reminisce therapy is actually something I have direct experience from my gero-psych clinicals, and I've read Tuesdays With Morrie before. Just going to watch the movie to remember more of the story.

Relieved! Got my grade back from my paper and did better than I thought! :) I think I will enjoy writing the second paper. Happy writing everyone ;)

did you all get your grade back from week two yet? i like to see my grade and review anything I did wrong before starting the paper for week three.

i must say, this course is definitely one of the easier nursing courses so far. maybe it's because i took health assessment last semester which was a lot more work!

My TA killed me on my first paper and doesn't give us our grades until Wednesday of the following week. Did fine on the 2nd paper. Can't wait to do the final paper. My TA dings big time for APA stuff.

How are you referencing the assessment tools? Are you just referencing the book?

Everything for Week 2 was graded Tuesday for me. Still have an A through two weeks. After 4510 and halfway through 4560 I've had good TA's. Grading has been fair.

I don't know doesn't seem too bad. Then again I had to do a similar project in the final semester of my ADN program. Actually the ADN project was probably worse as it was something like 20+ pages long.

I did not have a good TA in 4510 nor in this class. very harsh graders and nit pic everything. My 4570 TA was awesome!

nevermind i got it back a couple hrs after my posting.

My TA is pretty fair. I have an A in this class, it's actually not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Now I'm working on this paper due tonight... I'm having such a hard time keeping it only 4 paragraphs. I was actually also wondering if anyone cited the assessment tools? I didn't cite the movie Tuesdays with Morrie in week 2 and that's the only reason I didn't get the full amt of points.
