Georgia State University (GSU)-Perimeter College ASN Fall 2024

Hello! I didn't see a post for the Fall 2024 ASN cohort yet so wanted to make one to find some fellow applicants and potential future classmates! I am an older applicant (33, not "old," but you know... non-traditional student just finishing up pre-req's of AP2 and Micro this semester). I took my TEAS in December and applied the next day, LOL. I recently got the email that I meet the minimum requirements. April 30 feels so far away (but I've seen that some people get their acceptances in March or early April) so let's all wait impatiently together!

I just checked my student email and received my acceptance a week ago. How are you all feeling?

Is anyone getting error message 

NURS 1921 CRN 84159: A required test score, GPA or prerequisite course must be satisfied prior to taking this course

I was able register for nursing program then it just took me out I'm wondering if I'm missing anything or if it's because we not in the system yet as nursing.

I was able to register to my class I just emailed them and also they updated our path to nursing! Congratulations everyone looking forward meeting you guys. Now I just wonder how much books total

I was told that we only need to register 1921 for Fall semester.

I am looking to transfer back to GSU for my ASN. Can anyone give me any insight of what the nursing program schedule looks likes? I have checked every school in the Metro Atlanta Area and have talked to nurses and nursing students and it's like a secret club. I work full-time with no assistance. I would like an insight of what Monday - Friday looks like. I know it varies by school, but I have no clue what I am getting into and I do not have the luxury of quitting or working part. Someone please help LOL

HI, I am going to apply Fall 2025 but I will still have 3 more prerequisites to take after applying.

Is there anyone who got in leaving 3 prereqs pending when applying?

@LIUDEL your have to complete the necessary prereq before consideration and TEAS test.

so Were you pending AP2 and Microbiology when you were applying?

Could you share me your stats? like TEAS?

I will have 3 subjects pending (History/POLS/ENGL1102) when I am applying. So I am worried. LOL

I applied while still having pending prerequisite that were not done until Summer classes was over . I got in.
