Georgia State University Fall 2018

Published

Hello everyone! I am in the process of applying to GSU Fall 2018 and noticed that there hadn't been a thread started yet. I am applying for both the ACE and traditional tracks. My GPA is 3.73 and my TEAS is a 97.3. Fingers crossed! Who else is applying and what are your stats??

Specializes in Emergency/Trauma.

Same, Scleetus! I can't access it either :(

I did dual enrollment at a different college and now I'm wondering how my gpa translates into. How did you see what the nursing school sees as your GPA?

@harkness, how did you see how the nursing school views your GPA? I did dual enrollment at a different school and I'm trying to see how those credits transfer over.

Well, the deadline has officially passed and we are now under consideration. To all the lurkers and posters alike, best of luck!

Hey Ayaya I applied to GGC and GSU too. Do you plan on getting on campus housing if accepted?

Hey guys, your stats are frightening me. I am a first time applicant to both the ACE & Traditional tracks. My TEAS 85.5, GPA 3.81, and I only applied by March 8. I know the deadline was extended to 9 but I still feel as though priority will be given to early applicants. Hopefully we all get in. Read the threads for previous semesters.

@NurseCharly, no, I'll be commuting to anywhere I get accepted. I am a current GGC student but I'm older and have a family so moving is not an option.

Anyone able to use the check status thing? I thought it was just me... that I wasn't able to because I had done the accepted students steps and activated my campusID and all that.

If anyone is able to check their status please let us know.

The status check is worthless. Mine still says "complete - ready for review" from last semester even though I was denied. I am a current GSU student and my classmates received their acceptances through official GSU email

Do u remember when exactly you guys received acceptance/denial emails

Acceptance emails went out before thanksgiving break for the October 1 deadline. I did not receive an email at all. I got a denial letter in the mail when finals were almost over. Every time I called and asked about my case, I was told "decisions are forthcoming" and there was never a consistency on if decisions would be made by paper or email.
