Hi future nurses and any current nurses!
I applied for spring 2019 about 2-3 weeks ago. It already feels like I've been waiting for ages, though!
I'm curious about what you all's admission stats are (GPA, TEAS, how many pre reqs you've taken, etc.) Here's my stats...
General Ed GPA: 4.0
Science GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 78
I've taken 8 out of 12 of the required prerequisites.
Also, how many programs have you guys applied to? I only applied to this one, sadly. So, I'm wishing on a constellation that i get in.
I'm excited to virtually bond with you guys and share our (hopefully) positive results!
Udate! I talked to Ms. Creel today and the letter was indeed meant for me. It was the name of another applicant for another semester that got switched in the system. I got in!!
My stats -
GPA 3.8
Science GPA 4.0
TEAS 84%
Congratulations to everyone who got in and best of luck to those who didn't. DON'T give up. I headed to college nearly 20 years after graduating high school, and I once thought I could never be successful in school. If I can do it anyone can!

I am sincerely happy for you. Had I seen your stats before I could have guaranteed your acceptance.
The threshold was:
Overall gpa: 3.0
Biology gpa: 3.4
I did follow the science gpa mentioned in Solar but it does include the grade for Psychology. My Biology gpa was in fact 3.25 because of a "C" I received in A&PI lab. I really need to retake and replace both A&P courses since Microbiology was the only class where I received "A". A 3.25 Biology gpa would not fly anywhere.
Thank you so much. I was pretty sure too, but I was just scared to get my hopes up until I was sure. :)A&P is tough. I totally see why, after taking it, they want us to do well in those subjects before tackling the nursing program. You can totally do it! Best of luck!
Did you talk to her on the phone or through email? I think the school has my wrong address and I am dying to find out if I got in or not! I ended up taking A&P I & II as mini-mesters so I took all 4 classes last spring lol. I imagine that's how nursing school will be cuz all I had time for was work and school!

I had called yesterday morning, but she was out for the day; I left a message and she called me back this morning. I have emailed with questions in the past too and she seems very responsive. You could check your address in Go Solar - I had the same fear and went in there to make sure it was correct a few weeks ago, lol!
