Hi future nurses and any current nurses!
I applied for spring 2019 about 2-3 weeks ago. It already feels like I've been waiting for ages, though!
I'm curious about what you all's admission stats are (GPA, TEAS, how many pre reqs you've taken, etc.) Here's my stats...
General Ed GPA: 4.0
Science GPA: 4.0
TEAS: 78
I've taken 8 out of 12 of the required prerequisites.
Also, how many programs have you guys applied to? I only applied to this one, sadly. So, I'm wishing on a constellation that i get in.
I'm excited to virtually bond with you guys and share our (hopefully) positive results!
Hi everyone! I was accepted. My TEAS was a 78 and my GPA was 4.0. I've been so MIA because I just said I'd leave my worry to my God. I got my acceptance packet on September 19. I made the Facebook group. It's called "GSU Perimeter College Spring 2019 Nursing". You should be able to search the name and request to join.
Congratulations to everyone who was accepted! The first step is getting in, the next step is staying in. To those who weren't accepted, it's okay to be disappointed but don't let a setback stop you from pursuing this career if it's what you really want. Fight until there's no more fight left in you.
Thank you for setting up the FB group! I just joined. I'm looking forward to studying and learning with you all and getting to know you all better.
I was thinking that maybe closer to start maybe everyone we can find could get together for coffee or something and just get to know each other a little. I'm going to put feelers out on the fb page too!
Hey idk why I can't find the page on FB can you provide the link?
Here is the link to the Facebook page!

Congratulations! This is exactly what I'm planning to do. I definitely plan to get bachelor's but the cost and location of sticking with GPC and getting my Associate's first really works for my life situation and I'm hoping to begin working with my ASN and then continue schooling at that point.
